 Eva Ibbotson died a few days ago. I didn't know anything about her, besides that she was a woman and English. When I was a kid her books were among my favorites, I can't tell you how many times my mom read them to me. I have all of them on my shelf. Ok, The Host? Officially one of my all-time favorite books. Even if you're one of the people who doesn't like Stephanie Meyer, you should read this book, because it is so radically different from her Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse books that  you wouldn't notice.
